No more hunting for a shop willing to host your inspection. A dedicated facility where attorneys, insurers, and experts can examine cars, commercial trucks, and RVs, with lifts, diagnostics, and room for every party to inspect the same vehicle on the same day.

Midwest VITAL extends the work of TDT Vehicle Inspection Services, Inc., whose background spans vehicle inspection, repair, diagnostics, appraisal, diminished value, commercial vehicle and RV inspections, and expert witness work, into a building set up specifically for complex vehicle matters.
When a vehicle is at the center of a lawsuit or claim, plaintiff counsel, defense counsel, insurers, manufacturers, and their experts often all need access to it. Instead of squeezing an inspection into a repair shop between customer jobs, Midwest VITAL gives everyone one scheduled day at a facility built for inspection, not repair.

Send us the basics: vehicle type, what the dispute involves, how many vehicles and parties, and your preferred dates.
Pick a time to talk through the case and lock in your inspection day. Facility terms, including drop-off and pickup, are covered in the agreement before the vehicle arrives.
Vehicles can arrive the night before. We schedule one case per day, so the facility is yours for the inspection. The vehicle must be picked up within 24 hours.

No. Midwest VITAL is a dedicated facility for inspecting, testing and documenting vehicles involved in litigation, insurance claims and other disputes. We don’t do general repairs, body work, towing, state safety or emissions inspections, used-car inspections or vehicle storage.
Passenger cars, pickups, SUVs, luxury, exotic and classic vehicles, commercial trucks, tractor-trailers, buses, motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, utility trailers, and specialty or fleet vehicles. See the full list on our What to Expect page.
The facility fits three passenger vehicles, a car and a tractor-trailer together, or one RV at a time. We schedule one case per day, so vehicles from the same case can be inspected side by side.
Yes. Vehicles can arrive the evening before the scheduled inspection.
Vehicles must be picked up within 24 hours of the inspection. Midwest VITAL is not a storage facility, so vehicles left longer are subject to a fee and will be moved off-site.

Tell us about the vehicle, the matter and who needs to attend. We'll check availability and follow up to confirm your inspection day. Cars, commercial trucks, buses and RVs are welcome. One case per day, so the facility is yours for the inspection.
